Founded in 2018, the Danish-UK Association is the result of a successful merger between the Danish Club (est. 1863) and the Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce (est. 1989). The new organisation is owned and driven by its own members and serves as the cornerstone for business and trade as well as for the cultural and social relations of the Danish community in the UK. In recognition of its significance, the Danish-UK Association has been granted Royal Patronage by HM Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.

Prior to the design phase, the Danish-UK Association had undertaken extensive research project and study of its online user journey. With client buy-in on the approach, the brief was to provide design refinements, develop technical infrastructures to suit upgraded user journies and general site development.

To allow all parties to explore the visual concept of the platform, a detailed design prototype was produced which outlined each function of the new website. The final result is a comprehensive platform which hosts everything from news, members-only pages, social and cultural dates, member events and payment integration.
